Hello my fellow Philadelphians.
We are here today because you share the same belief I do – our government has been failing us and it is time we do something about it.
We see frequently in the news about the ongoing financial crisis. We hear how those in office are supposed to be helping us. We are to feel concerned about how things will get tougher in Philadelphia.
They want us to forget that things were already tough in Philadelphia before all of this happened.
They want us to believe in change while they stay the same.
Transparency and Reform are Deserved by All
John McCain has made much of his reputation as a maverick reformer,often needing to stand alone in order to fight for reforms in Washington. His efforts aroused opposition from both fellow Republicans and Democrats sitting across the aisle.
More recently, a younger generation of his fellow Republicans has not only claimed the mantle of reformers; they have made an impact in places where efforts to clean up politics had been considered hopeless.
